What to Bring Checklist

Bathrooms, showers, and changing rooms are available on premises.

  1. Foot protection is required to participate.
  2. Old shoes or sandals that go around your heel will be fine. No flip-flops are allowed on the river.

You will get wet!

  1. A change of clothes for after the trip
  2. Extra shoes
  3. A towel

Mountain weather is unpredictable, so come prepared for anything!

Warm Weather:

  1. T-shirt
  2. Shorts and/or swimsuit
  3. Waterproof sunscreen

Cool Weather:

  1. Items made of wool, polypropylene, or any synthetic materials are recommended. Cotton is NOT recommended because it will not retain body heat and restricts movement when it is wet.
  2. Warm socks also of wool or synthetic materials. Once again – no cotton.
  3. Long underwear of wool or synthetic. No cotton.
  4. Cool weather hat
  5. Wetsuits are available for rental, and spray jackets are available free of charge.
