Elton has over thirteen years experience has river guide on the Pigeon River. He is certified in First Aid and CPR. He spends his summers on the river and the rest of the year teaching. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Administrative Leadership. Outside of his work in the classroom, Elton enjoys triathlons and fly-fishing.

"My family and I had an absolute blast going down river with Big Creek Expeditions. Our guide, Elton, was great too. He was very friendly and made the trip so much fun. He gave us a little history about the river as well as some awesome guide jokes. After our trip, the amenities were very nice and clean.  BCE is the only rafting facility that had showers and bathrooms to change afterwards.
