Katie has 20 years of experience has a guide and is certified as a Wilderness First Responder, First Aid and CPR, and Swiftwater I & II. She has paddle other rivers such as The Gauley, The New River, Chatooga, Ocoee, Nolichucky, Tallulah, Cheoah, Russell Fork, Watauga Gorge, Big Laurel, and the French Broad. In the off season Katie teaches High School Math.

The front desk staff were super friendly. They kept your keys for you on a colored carabiner and let you keep the carabiner when you claimed your keys at the end of the adventure! A great touch!
