Rafting Adventures On The Pigeon River Available The Week of July 4th
Our busiest holiday on the river is approaching fast and time slots are filling up daily! To ensure you get the trip you want, we recommend making those reservations sooner rather than later. We have all our rafting adventures available for the week surrounding the 4
th
of July. We have Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday as our normal rafting days with the addition of rafting available on Sunday, July 7
th
.
The Upper Pigeon River will be available on these days starting at 10:30 and going every half hour until 4:30, except for 12:30 and 3:30. The Whitewater rafting portion of the river is perfect for those seeking an exciting adventure! This trip is filled with Class III and IV rapids and offers a thrilling experience from start to finish.
The Lower Pigeon River will be available on these days with trips scheduled at 12:30 and 3:30. This is the perfect option for families looking for a beginner trip down the river with children as young as 3. This Scenic Float is a very relaxing trip down the river with a few smaller rapids to get those in your family adjusted to what a rafting expedition is like.
If you are looking to spend an entire day down the Pigeon River, then the Full Day River Adventure is the expedition for you! Start on the Lower Pigeon with a 12:30 check-in and get your toes wet with a calm float down the river. This will get you prepared for the second portion of your trip. Once the first part of your trip is completed you will have an hour-long lunch break where you can have a picnic, stop at any of our food trucks, or visit the Café that’s just a mile down the road from us. At 4:00 you will check back in for the second portion of your trip: a thrilling trip down the Upper Pigeon! This section offers all the thrills and excitement of a true whitewater experience!  We know there are plenty of wonderful activities around the Smoky Mountains to experience during the Fourth of July but rafting is an adventure you do not want to miss out on!
