Saying Goodbye to Summer, But Rafting Adventures Continue This Fall!

As the summer sun sets and we bid farewell to another fantastic season on the river, we know many of you are just as sad as we are to see it go. But don’t pack away your paddles just yet—fall rafting is still going strong throughout September! While the days may be getting shorter and the air a bit crisper, the river continues to offer incredible adventures for those eager to enjoy the beauty of autumn outdoors. Our fall trips are a unique way to experience the changing scenery, the vibrant foliage, and the thrill of whitewater rafting.

Trip Times and Options: Every Saturday In September

  •  Upper River Trips : Available at 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM. These trips offer exhilarating rapids and breathtaking views, perfect for those looking for a little extra excitement and adventure.
  • Lower River Trips : Available at 2:00 PM. This section is great for all levels, providing a scenic and enjoyable journey through the heart of the river’s fall colors.

All Trips Are Tentative—Here’s Why

Fall rafting is extra special because it’s so closely tied to the natural rhythms of the river and weather. All September trips are tentative and dependent on rainfall and river conditions. We want every trip to be safe and fun, so we keep a close eye on the forecast and the river’s flow.

What Does “Dam Controlled” Mean?

Our river is dam controlled, which means water releases from the upstream dam dictate when and how much water flows downriver. The dam typically gives us a three-day projected release schedule. This allows us to plan trips but also means things can change quickly depending on weather and water needs. If conditions shift and we need to cancel a trip, we’ll let our guests know at least two days in advance. Our team will be in touch as soon as we have updated information so you can adjust your plans if necessary.

Join Us for a Fall Adventure!

If you’re craving adventure, want to see the river in its gorgeous autumn colors, or simply aren’t ready to let go of summer, our fall rafting trips are the perfect solution. Check our schedule, book your spot, and get ready for an unforgettable experience on the water!

We hope to see you on the river this September—let’s make the most of every last splash!
