I-40 Closures and Its Impact On The Upper Pigeon
Temporary Closure Of The Upper Pigeon River

This past week, heavy rains led to significant mudslides and flooding along I-40 at exits 450 and 451. As a result, access to the upper portion of the river has been cut off, and unfortunately, that area will temporarily remain closed. We will try to keep everyone updated as to when the Upper Pigeon will be open again. TDOT is currently working hard to clear the roads and HOPE to have the put-in point accessible again soon. We will be reaching out to all guests booked for tomorrow, Saturday, June 21st, to talk about options for your trip. In the meantime, our lower section of the river is still available for those looking to enjoy some outdoor activities this weekend. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we address these challenges. 💙
